Most produce is locally sourced, and some is grown on the premises. All dishes are made on the premises from pates, ice cream and mayonnaise. Bread is also home-made every morning.
Bar Menu
Having now re-furbished the whole bar area, we now have an Upper Bar area (2 small steps up) and the Lower Bar area. The Upper Bar is available to make bookings, but the lower bar is first come first served. An informal menu is served throughout both areas with a Specials Board every lunch and dinner the pub is open for food. We have a varied bar snack menu with prices from £6.95 for a main course.
A la Carte Restaurant
Our Restaurant is open Friday & Saturday evenings only with a A la Carte formal menu being served. The menu is seasonal and changes approximately every two months, depending on the time of year. Bookings for the Restaurant are advisable. View a sample Dinner menu >>
Sunday Lunch
On Sundays we offer an extremely popular set Sunday lunch with 3 courses for £13.50. Sundays get very busy and is a family occasion so booking in advance is advisable. The menu consists of a choice of 3 starters, followed by roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, another meat dish, a fish dish or vegetarian dish then to finish a choice of 3 desserts. Special Dietary Requirments
As all of our food is made to order and is prepared on the premises, it is not a problem to cater for most people's requirements.

Drinks
We offer a varied wine list by the bottle or by the glass which are all fairly priced. We also have a good selection of fine malts and digestives, plus a selection of cask real ales.
Private Function Room & Larger Parties
Parties of 12 or more in the restaurant will need to pre-order from the extensive function menu.
A private room is available to hire for special occasions. For a sit down meal of up to a maximum of 35 people and for a cold buffet up to ?? people.
